Below is a Sacred Prayer to Prime Creator, in which the Maya call K'ili'ich Hunab Ku, the one giver of movement and measure. ( For there is no movement that cannot be measured)
K'ili'ich means holy, and therefore very respectful for the Creator of all that we see.
In Ancient Mayan tradition the Sun, Father Sun is seen as the omnipotent being and visible representation of the God of Gods, K'ili'ich Hunab Ku.
Of course this does not mean like in Christianity that God is masculine and therefore a singularity.
In Mayan the Creator is both Masculine and feminine, a divine energy life force and that which we are all part of.
Father Sun is seen as a direct link to Prime Creator and one which is not only a celestial body in the Heavens but acts as a lens, a communication device that emits and sends the energy, the Love to the Creators children, humanity.
The Great central Sun / Source transmits the Light / Love of K'ili'ich Hunab Ku vast distances to other Sun's throughout the sphere of the dimensions and Multi-verses.
In so doing the codes of light can be projected everywhere and to everyone.
The Maya had a great working knowledge of how the Universe is constructed and they also knew that to honour Great Spirit was done through the association of the Sun.
The Maya like many ancient cultures knew of the importance of the Sun as a giver of life and a conduit to Prime Creator.
This unique form is still practised today throughout the Mayan World.
This Prayer was given to me a number of years ago by my Mayan Brother in Merida and in it's entirety and in the original Yucatec Mayan from where it was created.
The true essence of this prayer is spoken in the Mayan tongue, I have translated it into English which follows below the Mayan language.
Personally I have found this to be a very powerful prayer, although spoken in English it does rather loose the purity of the original text.
The only true form is for it to be spoken in Mayan, however I have omitted the English for reference purposes.

You cover the world with your energy, light our way of life, our health and our thoughts
You enter the water holy Sun, returning to rise the next day
Never ever do you disappear
Everything that is alive is shinning with your energy
All the energy of our thoughts is in you, because you are the energy of the World
